CAMm2 Moduloppgave: Espressokanne 2
The module exercise for CAMm2 is to complete the parts from CAMm1 and assemble them together. Next will be editing the parts, make drawings of them and make a Presentation and an animation with the complete object.
DAY 1
A DWF file containing a cross section of the parts, all of them completed is used as starting point.
Also, nuts and bolts must be included from the Content Center in the assembly.
For this exercise all the parts are fully modelled (including the details that are missing in the parts from CAMm1 and making the parts that weren't included in the CAMm1 process).
Note: there are threads (M70x3) in the...
All parts are double-checked.
All the parts are constrained with Kanne_U as the grounded part in the assembly. Also the sub-assemblies correspond to the order stablished in the DWF.
DAY 2
Now is time to start with the changes, the drawings, the Presentation and the animation. These are the new global mesurements. Measurements not shown are to be either proportional or derived from the geometry.
For this it's important to make a copy of the whole file including the project file, which must be renamed. After checking the activities' plan, I am ready to make the smaller version of the Espressokanne.
The mesurements are changed in the new copy based on the drawing at the beginning of DAY 2 (that includes the mesurements of the parts that aren't visible there). The thread that corresponds to the new version is: M55x3.
A Presentation is made based on the iam file.
A animation is made based on the Presentation were it is shown how the Espressokanne is put together.
A drawing of the assembly is made with a parts list.
Production drawings are made for each of the parts.
Afterwards, a DWF is made with all the drawings in the same file.
The working plan is updated and evaluated. A graphic shows that I used aprox. 35% more time than planed. Must of the time was used at the begining of the process with the parts. I will try to be more effective in the first part of the asigments.
Non the less, I am very pleased with the results. It is been a very nice, interesting and fun module exercise.
